Our philosophy
LAURA HERMAN CONSULTANCY exists to provide skilled, imaginative and confidential support to individuals and groups who want to thrive and live life more fully. In a business context that may mean addressing effectiveness, productivity and - ultimately - the bottom line, but as far as many of our individual clients are concerned it may simply mean that they have grown weary of accepting behaviour, experiences and feelings in themselves and others which are limiting and diminishing of life.
Our psychoanalytic world-view means that we are committed to helping our clients understand how the unconscious world of feelings and experiences impacts upon the conscious world of choices. We also believe that good consultancy and therapy doesn't 'fix' people from the outside, but rather works with people and allows them to take up their own authority for change and growth.
We provide a grown-up service for people who want to be treated as grown ups. Please don't hesitate to contact us for an initial conversation about how you take the first steps. Our consulting rooms are in Knightsbridge - conveniently placed for Green Park, Hyde Park Corner, South Kensington and Chelsea. Organisational consultancy frequently takes place in the workplace - or can involve day-meetings or residential meetings at a number of centres in Central London or the South East.
